Jack Nicholson Offered Role in Jackie Robinson Biopic
Jack Nicholson has become a Yankees fan, but he or she is temporarily change allegiances for any new film. Vulture reviews that Nicholson continues to be offered a job within the approaching Jackie Robinson biopic '42.' There's not sure on who he'd be playing, but as Vulture highlights, it would probably be Brooklyn Dodgers executive Branch Rickey, the guy who signed Robinson to some minor league contract in 1945. 2 yrs later, Rickey known as up Robinson, where he grew to become the very first African-American player to look within the majors. He performed until his retirement in 1956 and was later chosen in to the Hall of Fame. John Helgeland, who authored the scripts for 'Mystic River' and 'L.A. Private,' is mounted on direct.
